As time moves on so do our products.
We take customer feedback seriously and have listened to customers with SWB and LWB axles.
The No.1 gripe is the time taken to fit an axle. Having to remove the drum / disc assembly, roll bar brackets, leaf springs etc takes time and we at MYC now wish to reduce the fitting time for our customers.
ModYourConnect will no longer be advertising our lowered axles for the time being.

Instead we are now offering to tailor any drop required to lower your Transit Connect MK1 SWB and LWB.
These leaf springs are ready to bolt straight on to lower your Connect. No messing about with the axle any longer.
Unbolt the original leaf springs and bolt on the new leaf springs – it’s that simple.

These leaf springs come in a black finish and are the 2 leaf version (leaf and assister spring).

The MYC Adjustable Brackets must be used in conjunction with this axle as it will allow you to fine tune the rear ride height of your Connect up or down. (Not included, but available on the website)

Image shows the assister spring rubbers facing away from the main spring. This is done to protect the assister spring in our shipping packaging. Upon receipt please slide them off and install upwards.

NOTE: If your Transit Connect is factory lowered or the leaf springs have been changed previously and is lower than the original standard ride height you must take into account the difference in drop and add this to the drop you require. If this is not done the vehicle will see very little drop after fitting the leaf springs. This is not a defect in the leaf springs but a calculation error.
