MYC MK1 Transit Connect SWB & LWB Lowered Axles (Exchange Basis)

Our Transit Connect MK1 SWB or LWB, 2 in 1 modified axle. (Exchange basis).

The axle we have produced has two benefits in that you always have the ability to return the vehicle back to factory height using the original leaf spring plate that is in situ and your original Ford leaf springs and U bolts.
Custom sized U bolts are supplied as part of the kit free of charge. They are slightly longer to accommodate the different variants of leaf spring so may need to be cut down to reduce the thread length depending on the type of leaf springs you have fitted.

The MYC Adjustable Brackets should be used in conjunction with the axle as it will allow you to fine tune the rear ride height of your Connect up or down after lowering. (Not included, but available on the website)

EXCHANGE BASIS

The oldest Connects are now 22 years old and sourcing good axles is becoming very difficult. As such the purchase of an axle will incur a £100.00 mandatory surcharge which will be refunded upon the axle of the same type purchased being returned to us in good condition.
Any axle that is modified, damaged, twisted or excessively rotten will be refused.

Producing this axle works on the basis a customer returns their current axle to us.
We would appreciate customers returning their current axle as this will assist other MK1 Connect owners in the long run.

These axles are custom made per customer and take around 4 weeks to manufacture although we sometimes hold stock so please telephone to check availability.

780mm = SWB
980mm = LWB
