MYC Transit Custom 2012-2023 Rear Lowered Leaf Springs

After the success of our Transit Custom Front Lowering Springs MYC are pleased to announce our Transit Custom Rear Lowered Leaf Springs 2012 – 2023 models.

These leaf springs will not fit the new Transit Custom / VW collaboration 2023 model.

These leaf springs are custom produced and we can tailor the leaf springs to any drop required although we have 7 different drop heights within the drop-down list above to choose from!
The leaf springs can be produced in a 60mm or a 76mm width depending on the leaf springs fitted to the vehicle.
Our leaf springs are wet sprayed in satin black paint for a better finish.
If you require new U Bolts please specify by selecting yes or no in the drop down list.

IT IS IMPERATIVE THIS INFORMATION IS UNDERSTOOD BEFORE PURCHASE!!

Our lowered leaf springs are produced from the standard, unlowered Transit Custom Leaf Spring fitted to your vehicle.
We will require the leaf spring engineering part number at the time of order to check it is on our variants list.

If you have a Custom Sport, MS-RT van or ANY other lowered leaf spring, please advise BEFORE ordering as these leaf springs are LOWER than the standard Ford leaf springs that we use to produce the lowered leaf springs.
There are currently 59 variants of the Transit Custom leaf spring as of 12/12/23 all with different camber angles. The list grows!

If your Transit Custom is factory lowered or the leaf springs have been recambered or changed previously and is LOWER than the original Ford standard camber ride height you must take into account the difference in drop and add this to the drop you require.
If this is not done the vehicle will see very little drop / no drop after fitting the new leaf springs.
This is NOT a defect in the leaf springs but a customer calculation error.

Unlike our competitor we do not use oxy-acetylene to heat up leaf springs and bend in a vice. This creates weak spots in the leaf spring.
We use a hydraulic power press to reprofile leaf springs in their cold state.

Due to the manufacturing process all leaf springs will have a tolerance of +5mm or up to -5mm.
This is due to the leaf spring during its original production and is something out of our control.

Please note these springs are custom made and normally take around 1 – 3 working days to produce. However on occasions this timeframe may reduce or increase depending on the manufacturers turnaround time.
